that was ahead of its time!
Last of its kind to be produced by the German automaker Bavarian Motor Works in 1976, the BMW 2002 was the new class sedan of its time fit for the executive individual. This 2-door coupe was restored to pristine condition in Atlanta, Georgia and well maintained by its current owner. There was one owner prior. The current owner of The Executive purchased this car at the time he landed his first executive level role in his career. That is where the name of his '02 comes from. The immaculate restoration design was nothing less than executive status.
This overhaul was more than just a pet project as a collectors item, it is a product of meticulous design, innovative technology, and BMW passion. It is the embodiment of style, class, and wisdom. Between the years of 2006 and 2014, The Executive was featured in various roadshows and '02 owners club meetups.

Now, The Executive is looking for a new home that will provide a high level of care and appreciation for its grandeur.

MORE THAN JUST A RESTORATION
The Executive, a 1976 BMW 2002, was purchased in 2001 from a private owner. At the time of purchase, there were significant signs of wear and tear on the interior and exterior, yet the overall chassis was strong. Drivetrain and handling was solid. The goal of the restoration was just that, to restore it to its clean factory look. Very minimal corrosive corrective work was needed during the restoration. The overhaul of The Executive started with its power, it's not executive level without any power. The original engine was rebuilt to include digital technology to drive performance and top of the line components like the transition from the Weber carburetor to a German one. All of the upgrades combined powers a clean 5-speed engine. The interior features pecan brown leather seating and door panels, updated carpet and classic headlining throughout.
